Okay I have 3 questions. 1- Today I put a dish in my green anoles cage so i can feed them wax worms. Well I put the worms in the dish and my anoles wont eat them and they should be really hungry. do you think they are just scared of the new thing in their cage? Will they eventually figure out that there is food in it. 2- The wax worms keep getting out of the dish and burying themselves in the substrate (peat moss) what can I do to stop them getting out. 3- what do wax worms eat
One anoles wont eat anything bigger than their heads, for this may cause chocking. Plus are not really good to use a lot for they are high in fat.2 use a tube a ware bowl cut the bottom out high enough so that the wax worms can crawl out. wax worms can not climb. wax worms can be feed anything just like meal worms. But don't keep them for to long or they will turn into beetles.

How do you keep wax worms alive when you live in louisiana where there are no basements?
I have a geicko and Pet Smart says that they dont get wax worms in the summer and all my pet wants to eat is wax worms. I tried everything..
If you get a lot of them and cool them in the fridge they will grow slower and take longer to reach their adult form so put them in the fridge and just make sure you have enough to hold you over, or you could buy them online and have them shipped

My newts usually stay in the water but I don't know if i should put the live wax worms in the water?
Tongs are the best way. I feed dried tubiflex worms with tongs and they love chasing after it when I move it around and and eating.

Where can I get the cheap sawdust for bedding the wax worms? I only need a little. Is there anything I can use instead of the sawdust to keep the wax worms and store them in the refrigerator?
porridge oats or bran mixed in with some honey (not enough to make it sloppy) some add some grated bee's wax if u can get your hands on it.

How much nutrition do wax worms provide?
The wax worms are to feed to my red eared sliders.
Wax worms don't provide a lot of nutrition. They are difficult to "gut-load" becuase they are usually sold in wood shavings which they don't eat. What they have is lots of fat:
Moisture - 62.6%,
Protein -15.8%,
Fat - 20.4%,
Ash - 0.8%,
Other - 0.4%

How do I feed my leopard geckos wax worms's?
I bought a box of wax worms for my leos they seem to be eating them fine. my leos are 2 years old. What else should I feed then other than crickets and how should I store my wax worms.
You will want to store the container of wax worms somewhere room temp. (The same with the super, butter and silk worms only meal worms should be kept in the fridge) I put them in the fridge once and ended up killing most of them (dead ones turn brown) you will want to feed crickets, wax worms, super worms, butter worms, silk worms. Also put a small peice of fruit or some lettuce in with the worms for gut loading and to make sure they stay alive.
