On the river I fish on the only baitfish that's bigger than minnows and shrimp is croakers and bream. These croakers are the small ones, not the giant croakers in the pacific. But anyway I was wondering if I could catch croakers and bream with Frabill's Pinfish trap. And if I can what would I put in there as bait?
Thanks for your time. Hopefully this'll save me the time I spend cast-netting.
Here's a link to the trap at basspro.

Yes you can catch croakers. Use a cheap can of dog food peal off paper label poke a few small holes in can. Hang can in the middle of trap for best results.
