I have a Jon boat model UR1236F http://www.boats.com/sites/dayislandboatworks/boat?entityid=405720 and was wondering how to attach rod holders to it. Drilling into the seats is not an option. Please help.

I would like to install two flush fishing Rod Holders into the sides of by Bayliner 1952 , there are about 2" in dia.

Get a cordless drill fitted with a 2.5" core cutter and drill the holes where you want to insert the holders. Then insert the holders applying a sealant to ensure no leaks appear. Using the smallest screws you can get secure them to you re Bayliner.

Im trying to think of something I can mount on the inside of my bed cover to hold about 5 fishing rods. Of course I cant do any drilling without damaging the bed cover. Any ideas?

Try using a velcro strip they are sticky on one side that you put on the bed cover. or mayber you could put something between your wheel wales to lay them on or attach them to?

I've used pvc pipe and pipe clamps from a plumbing supplier and used the lisence plate holes.

xmas is coming i wanna get the stuff he needs but dont kno much about it i need the back lights the front light so boat see you coming ummm rod holders an i dunno whatever else you guys can help me with what can u put in the jon boat and what does it need thanks flat bottom jon boat thanks

Any boat supply like, A Boats US or a West Marine also any boat dealers Accessory shop should be able to help while your at is be sure to get a copy of Your States and the Coast Guards Regulation the length of the boat affects lighting and safety equipment required.

i tried to do this and it would'nt work on large ones and small ones plant holders

I saw a news video about mighty putty awhile back. They copied the commercial to a tee, and nothing it claims to do worked. It's a rip off. There's a similar thing at automotive stores that I've used to bond things in the house & on my car, & it works very well. I can't remember the name, but it comes in a clear tube, it's a putty that's black on the outside & grey inside. It might be called epoxy steel. I attached fog lights to my car with it & 4 yrs. later they're still on there.
