I just bought the Berkley Amp casting rod and it seems pretty nice. It is hard to find reviews for the Amp online and I was just wondering what people think of the Amp spinning rods. i.e. sensitivity, strength, and the ability to get a good hook set

I live in mid Michigan and I like to fish anything from walleye, bass, pike, to catfish, and salmon but I am debating whether to get a medium rod or medium heavy. It's either between St.Croix, Berkley or Gander Mtn.

Use the money you planned to spend on the St. Croix and get yourself 3 or 4 different rods.

Ok so i curently have a 6'6" berkley lightning rod with the abu garcia cardinal 400 series

im wanting a new set up

i was thinking about this

7 foot ugly stick
with the abu garcia cardinal 800

any sugestions on this or what i should get?

i would go with the ugly stick very reliable and i heard that the Garcia cardinal 800 is a very good real so go with it
