This time of year you have to find out where the baitfish are. Bass are now stocking up on their winter reserves and need to eat like pigs. If you are on a river or watershead, try finding places that have a current (not rapids or anything). baitfish get pushed by the flowing current and bass like to hide out in the water where bodies of water are connected and wait for the current to do its thing!
The company Dymara has gone out of business and their fishing spoons are amazing. Is there any website known where i can get them, excluding E-Bay because they only have trolling spoons. Also the email on the Dymara site does not work, any other way i can get in contact with them? If anyone has any post em on ebay:D
if the company has gone out of business, it's a sure thing their website will no longer work. looks like ebay and some of the other auction sites are your best bet.
When I'm spin-cast fishing I almost exclusively use spoons or spinners, attached to a fluorocarbon leader off of braided line. Since I use braided lines I am not too concerned with line twists, and I could replace the leader easily. Would attaching a spoon or inline spinner directly to the line instead of attaching it to snap swivel give the lures more action, or should I just keep using snap swivels?
I would use a swivel-so no controversy from me, lol ive been adding a swivel for years, its makes it a lot easier to fish with as changing spinners is quick and simple, ive found the difference between using them and not using them to be very little.

Hi...we fish for salmon every year on lake michigan. what we have found that works well are flies with bright colors like silver and chartreuse (bright green)...we have caught coho on spoons as well...my favorite one is bright green metallic (caught my biggest salmon on that baby, 30 lbs!!...lol) stick with the bright colors of the spoon itself, the salmon are attracted to the flashes it makes in the water. there is no need to add anything to it.
What kind of fish would you use a L.B. Huntington Drone Spoon for? I have to do a project on fishing lures for my Marine Biology class...
What about a Hopkins NO=EQL. I've looked up other info about these two, but never found what to use them for.
That is one of the most versatile lures ever made so ill try to list as many as possible: bass (Largemouth, Smallmouth, Striped), Trout(rainbow,brown,brook,sea), Bonito, Mackerel, Bluefish, Redfish, Albacore, Salmon, Halibut, Snook, Most small tuna, and pretty much any oyher aggresive fish.
