Are anti slug , Nematode worm kits safe to use?
Are the Nematode worms indiginous to Britain? I dont want to upset the eco-system in my garden or else where!
Yes they are absolutely safe and have been passed by the Min of Ag. or whatever they call themselves these days. You are not going to create a epidemic of flesh eating Martian monsters. they just love to kill slugs, saves the use of pellets, this helps the birds, frogs and toads, all of which by the way, eat slugs too..

any tips on preparing for the arrival of my puppy ?
i have bought bowls, bed ,fle and worming kit that type of thing and organized puppy classes and training and vaccinations secured the garden and put in a dog flap and read lots of books. tanks
Sounds like you've got a great start on things! I'm sure you've got toys and food, and a leash and collar. The only other thing I can suggest is making sure your house is puppy proofed. No wires to be chewed on, no gaps in the outside fencing that he might slip through, gates to block of certain rooms. And the biggest suggestion of all is a crate! Some people think badly of crates saying that they don't want to lock up their dogs, however, dogs are den animals and actually like having a crate. Especially for puppies, it's good to put them in it every few hours for a nap, and at nighttime until they are more trustworthy and fully housebroken. He/She may whine a bit at first, but with a nice bone, and a comfy blanket they will soon come to love and even want to go in to a crate. Good job on an early start at puppy training!

Kit 5wks old cry when pee or poo. Have 3 days, vet treat for eye infect. and worms. Why the cry for both elim
Ok now i have more space to type. Found kit in yard, only 1.5 lbs. eats dry or wet food. Readily uses kitty litter, but cries out loud, when either peeing or poohing. Got her to vet same day I found him. Had one eye close due to conjuctivitis, using ointment and worm meds. Gave bath. Apparantly fleas liked the bath. Found fleas on her, combed the best I could, and re-bathed. Some dead fleas on towel, but not in the water, cannot use flea shampoo or meds on yet too yet..help...why the cry and how do u get fleas off when they didn't come off body when bathed in deep water.finally some drowned and came off......just vacuumed everywhere and washed bedding in case....so little, the cries don't seem normal unless used to mother egging on to pee or pooh or doens't like feel of litter..anyone have these experiences...at wits end for the little guy.......will call vet tomorrow if persists...ty chris
I can't find how to thank you first four for answering my pleas....so just adding and hope u see. I just check the little one, he is 5 weeks estimated by the vet....I got five more fleas off, one dead four alive so I think there must be more.two baths and still there...first used neutrogena shampoo.....then used ivory dish washing liquid. Yup found the fleas don't always drown..he seems ok when I put in litter box, plays a little, then starts the little digging, but still crying with the pee or pooh....ty all.....chris
Thanks Chalice, I had never heard of frontline spray for kittens so young......thanks so much.the dawn didn't work, after 3 baths in it . Poor thing is either gonna hate water or love it. He is doing well now, no crying, think it was just hoping for sand and not kitty litter. But trying to find a home for it is always difficult. I have MANY cats, all well taken care of but not room for one more. ty all again.
Hi again chalice...i checked so many places online about frontline....it just says cannot be used on kits under 8 weeks and even vets and shelters and breeders use dawn. I will check with my vet. She did originally say Dawn and did not suggest anything else.
Your kit probably has a urinary tract infection or another type of infection. You need to take her to your vet and tell her what she is doing and what is happening!
You may not be seeing the fleas that are coming off on the towel on her body because flea have very good hiding spots. Also, most fleas do not just fall off when submerged in water. You'll need a flea comb to get them all off.

How do I get rid of a post-worm/trojan removal "Bad Image" error message?
I just recently got rid of the "Seneka" worm/trojan including the root kit and the .DLLs in the system32 folder. I used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to identify and remove it. I used Uniblue registry repair to fix any registry problems. I even went through a list of known "Seneka" files and searched manually through the registry for any problems. I get a message when Windows XP MCE 2005 starts up or whenever any executable file is opened that says "Bad Image" and it's for a "senekarqomylvr.dll". There's no problem with any programs really, it's just this Window keeps popping up looking for that file. How do I get it to stop wanting to look for it?
i aslo have trojan, it destroy my sys file.
i use Registry Easy get rid of it.
this tool is great.
