I want to make my cars turn signal flashers flash like....left, right, left, right, left, right, etc. not all at once only one side at a time. Is there some kind of flasher relay or something that can do this? What type of store could i buy it from? or is it online? or should i make my own by just using 2 different flasher relays and turning them on at different times?

I got a combination flasher the other day, and i was wondering how do you connect the lights to it? It has like 4 prongs one that says +(positive) another that says -(negative) another that says 'L' and another that says 'S'. What goes to each of those prongs? Also, does a combination flasher go on those cars where, when someone uses the turn signal, usually the front light and then the side light alternate with each other. You know, it's usually on the front of one's car. It goes like, front, side, front, side. Thank You in advance. Also, where could i get an alternating flasher from? I want to be able to buy it from a store, but can't find it. Those are the flashers that make the school busses red lights alternate when they flash. Would the combination flasher sort of work like that? Once again, Thanks Alot!

If you're trying to wire up something like emergency lights you need a Wig Wag. You can buy them online and at some parts houses that sell wrecker and police lightbars. Be warned though, there are a lot of laws that regulate who can have them on their vehicle and when they can use them. Don't get any bright ideas or you could get into trouble.

Auto zone sells a hazard warning flasher for a 2002 olds alero. Price is around nine dollars. According to a repair manual the flasher can not be replaced on this model and year. Instead entire flasher switch must be replaced. Is this true or can I replace hazard flasher only?

the flasher on your olds always goes bad. there is no recall, but if you find the right dealer that works on oldsmobiles, they may replace it at no charge if you have less than 150,000 mi

Where is the flasher unit for the indicators on a Mercedes Sprinter 311 cdi?

Unfortunately it is actually part of the fusebox on the steering column, one of mercedes cock ups !

I have a 2002 olds alero and I need to replace the hazard warning flasher located insider the dash. I can easily remove the dash trim and reach the flasher, but I cant get it disconnected. Is there a way I can remove it without doing damage. Or should I just take it to dealer and let them do it. If so, how much do you think it will cost to fix?

Look for any kind of plug retainer on the one in the car. Also look for a catch on the replacement. That said, I have never run across one that had a retainer. Usually its just a tight fit. Very gently, put the tip of a screw driver or butter knife between the the connector and the flasher and pry. Here comes the obligatory disclaimer. The potential, no matter how small exists that you may inadvertantly short out the circuit, by grounding out what you're prying with.

I checked the fuse block, i only found the hazard flasher and not the signal flasher, any ideas of where it may be?

Under the dash. I am thinking the last one I did a few years ago was more toward the center on the drivers side. For some reason, I remember it being stuffed up, just under the radio.
